KatieThe wait was finally over last night when season three of Gossip Girl (FINALLY) continued after an almost four month hiatus – come on CW, I was dying here! Anyways, the best dressed cast on TV reappeared looking nothing short o amazing. In a short recap, Serena and Nate finally took their relationship to the next level and are finally dating…well, something of that sort. Chuck is on the hunt to figure out if the mysterious woman by his father’s grave was indeed his mother who was said to be killed during the birth of Chuck. Blair stands by her man’s side while hoping to push her socialite career up a notch. The Humphreys are getting the shaft throughout the episode: new found drug dealer Jenny gets dissed by Damien when her asks Serena to the French Ambassador State dinner after Jenny figures out a plan to get drugs in, Rufus and Lily are still not speaking after her visit with Serena’s father was revealed to him and Dan is still getting snubbed by Venessa after confessing his love for her. But enough of the drama, let’s look at the clothes where sequins were a big thing at the State Dinner!
Bringing glamour to Jenny Humphrey’s edge, she is looking beautiful in a black sequined and spiderweb detailed Andrew Gn gown. Her nude lip, dark black eyeliner and Badgley Mischka earrings finished off the look.
Though she was not at the Dinner for long, Blair sparkled in a Moschino jacket over a Victoria Beckham gown (a favorite designer among Blair’s fashion this season). She finished her look with House of Lavande earrings and a cream-colored clutch by Valentino.
