Love Cyndi’s creamy red lipstick, or is Gaga’s pale pink pout more your style?
On March 18, you can have both while supporting MAC’s AIDS Fund. Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga have joined the likes of Christina Aguilera, Linda Evangelista, and Elton John as spokesmodels for MAC’s Viva Glam campaign. Viva Glam launched in 1994 with a glamazon red, and has been churning out special edition shades ever since. Every bit of Viva Glam’s selling price goes towards men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS.
MAC hasn’t listed a description of either of the lipsticks on their site yet, but it appears as though Gaga is wearing an opaque light pink with a touch of Spring 2010’s biggest makeup trend: lavender. It’d be a great update for girls who sport a pale lip everyday. Cyndi is wearing a true red, reminiscent of Viva Glam’s early beginnings. But I’m sure this shade will have something special– is that a bit of gold shimmer I see? I can’t wait to pick up both of these shades and try them out for myself. Each of the lipsticks go for just $14 and will be available online and at all MAC Cosmetics stores. Learn more about the MAC AIDS Fund here.
