This week on Gossip Girl was filled with tons of “I told you so” moments. Like “Serena, I told you Tripp was going to screw you over” (and also end up getting you in a car accident…but that we didn’t see coming) and “Dan, I told you you loved Vanessa and should have told her how you felt” and “Chuck, I told you that you should have listened to Blair and Lily” and “Lily, I told you that you should have told Rufus about meeting with Serena’s father…or else he would find out from someone else.” WHEW! And, for future reference, “Jenny, I told you not to hang out with rich, teenage drug dealer!” And now, with all the ‘I told you so’s’ out of the way, we have new questions to ask: Was that Chuck’s mother (the one that is supposed to be dead) at his father’s grave site? Will Serena and Nate (FINALLY) get together? What kind of trouble will Jenny get into? What will happen with Lily and Rufus? We shall see what 2010 has to bring!
But on a fashionable note, how chic we’re Jenny’s “minions” in their matchy-matchy tights, sweaters and hats? Gotta love those knit berets in the winter. I love these colorful crochet berets from Forever 21 (and they’re only $5.50!)
Blair was looking super stylish, as usual, in a black & white houndstooth blouse by Alexander McQueen, black fleece Brooks Brothers skirt, fishnet tights and Lanvin cap toe heels. She finishes the look with an Escada fall/winter 2009 coat and a Valentino ‘Flora’ bag ($1,095). Her and Chuck make an amazingly chic couple!
