cynthiarowlyUAUnited Airlines has just chosen flirty American designer Cynthia Rowley to makeover the company’s uniforms for 2011. How fabulous! Rowley will be designing uniforms for the various staff members, from the pilots and flight attendants, to the customer service and maintenance employees. Rowley will spend a month traveling the world to meet with United Airways employees in order to see exactly what it is that they need from their uniforms regarding functionality, comfort, and durability. Then she will add her beautiful styling to her findings. The re-vamping of uniforms was an important investment to the company because they want their employees to give off a fresh, positive impression of the company. Who better to make airline employees chic and savvy than Cynthia Rowley? I look forward to seeing the results! Cynthia joins the likes of many other designers who have re-fashioned airline uniforms, including Christian Lacroix and Pierre Balmain.
