Anna Wintour In The Oval Office?

annaAnna Wintour is infamous in the fashion world for being a tough cookie (to say the VERY least). The thing is that without Anna, designers, editors, and stylists wouldn’t have any direction as to what’s in or out. What she says, goes, and her power has taken her very far. Anna has pioneered amazing efforts for the fashion world, such as this year’s Fashion’s Night Out, the Met Gala, and many other philanthropic efforts. Her passion for fashion has been noted by the White House, and Anna was recently appointed to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities (PCAH). This committee consists of 26 members, both federal and public entities, who will work together on programs that help promote the arts in our society. Among Anna’s peers will be Sarah Jessica Parker, Edward Norton, and Forest Whitaker. The Honorary Chair position is held by Michelle Obama, who graced the cover of Vogue last March. It looks like Anna has a lot on her plate, but in times like these she may be the perfect person to get fashion and the arts back on track. We wish her luck!

  • Being the editor in chief of American Vogue since 1988- she better be a fashion icon! It’s great to see the first lady in “fashion action” as well!
