This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and many clothes and accessories are being produced and sold now to advocate and raise money for the disease. I am all about about donating money for a cause, especially if it means getting some fabulous fashion is the process! I am loving all the different bags and totes out there that are not only raising money for the cause and donating to breast cancer awareness/research foundations, but look really cute, too! Here are some chic philanthropic bags:
The “Get Checked!” Tote by Harveys Original Seatbeltbag is a woven combination of pink and black seatbelts, lined with matching pink and black Harveys signature monogrammed nylon, and a cause-worthy pink dangle, in the shape of a seatbelt. This is a special Breast Cancer awareness tote designed for and inspired by women, of all ages, who are either affected first hand, at high risk, or simply want to support the cause. The “Get Checked!” Tote is less than subtle, it’s an in-your-face reminder for women of all ages to get checked regularly and stay healthy. There is even an option for you to personalize the donation made on your behalf! The “Get Checked” Tote is available October 2009 at Seatbeltbags.com and at any Harveys retail store. Retail price: $138.00. $75 of the purchase price will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
