In our second edition of character specific Gossip Girl Style On Set, we dedicate this post to the season 3 style of my favorite Upper Eastside fashionista, Serena van der Woodsen (played by the lovely Blake Lively). Serena has the whole modern bohemian style going on (and we loveher for it!) with the mix of drapey tops and skinny jeans, but still has a bit of NYC socialite in by wearing modern, designer dresses. Here is a preview of Serena’s looks from season 3 and they definitely don’t disappoint!

Ms. van der Woodsen is looking super hot in this hip-hugging maroon dress by Herve Leger (the master of body con bandage dresses). These dresses have been seen all over the runway and on the red carpet and now we get to see it on the street. Natural hair, a clump of bangles and a simple clutch is the way to go to pull of this look like the Manhattan princess herself. Herve Leger dress, $1,188

Of course donning the hot item of the summer, Serena is looking sassy in this navy jumper from Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent ($265) and multicolored blazer by Dries van Noten. She finished the look off with gray peep-toe ankle boots from Marc by Marc Jacobs ($595) and a red Chanel chain bag. I am absolutely in love with every part of this look. The colors of the jacket, the jumper, the shoes…ah! Can’t wait to see it on the show!

Here, Serena shows off her bohemian style with a modern twist and great accessories. She goes boho in a Chelsea Flower Tie-Dye vest ($75), Alexander Wang pocket tank ($75), black shorts and brown leather booties. Serena turns this bohemian look modern with accessories with serious hardware. Adding a Winfred Grace fringe necklace ($405) and green python BE & D Cosette hobo bag ($1490) turns up the style on her look and adds a bit of edge.

The green python Be&D Cosette Hobo shown above is actually $1490. The one shown in black leather is $895.
